Full Time Night Nursing Unit Coordinator: Keokuk County Health Center is seeking a Nursing Unit Coordinator to work full time from 7pm to 7am, includes every other weekend and some holidays.  Nursing Unit Coordinator will support the Emergency and Nursing Department professional clinical staff by performing general administrative clerical duties and by providing direct patient care under the supervision of a RN.  Basic computer knowledge is required. Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant, Medical Assistant or EMT.  Must have a current BLS and Dependent Adult/Child Abuse training certification.  Full benefit package includes medical, dental, vision and life insurance, short and long term disability plans, paid time off, uniform allowance, and IPERS. 

Full Time Medical Technologist (MT)/Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT): Keokuk County Health Center is seeking a MT or MLT to work a rotating schedule of day and evening, Monday through Friday.  Hours will include on-call coverage for some nights and some weekends/holidays.  Candidates should be knowledgeable in all area of routine procedures as well as those specialized tests that require more complex techniques.  MT or MLT degree and graduated from an accredited school of medical technology.  ASCP/AMT registry required.  Full benefit package includes medical, dental, vision and life insurance, short and long term disability plans, paid time off, uniform allowance, and IPERS.

Part Time Direct Care Worker/Nursing Unit Coordinator Keokuk County Health Center has an opening for a Part Time DCW/Nursing Unit Coordinator for 16 hours per week, evening shift (3pm-11pm) includes some holidays.  Will provide direct and indirect care activities under the supervision of a registered nurse.  Will assist patients with ADL’s, provide personal cares, comfort and assist in the maintenance of a safe and clean environment.  Nursing Unit Coordinator will support the Emergency and Nursing Department professional clinical staff by performing general administrative clerical duties and by providing direct patient care under the supervision of a RN.  Basic computer knowledge is required.  Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in State of Iowa.  BLS certification required.  Benefits: Paid time off, IPERS, eligible for AFLAC, and uniform allowance. 

PRN Direct Care Worker: Keokuk County Health Center Nursing Department is seeking individuals that are willing to provide direct and indirect care activities under the supervision of a registered nurse.  Will assist patients with ADL’s, provide personal cares, comfort and assist in the maintenance of a safe and clean environment.  Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in State of Iowa.  BLS certification required.  Benefits: Uniform Allowance

PRN Radiology/CT Technologist: Keokuk County Health Center is seeking a Radiology/CT Technologist to help cover sick time and vacations.  Responsible for providing medical imaging services as directed by the physician and/or radiologist.  Completes assigned responsibilities within his/her certifications with no direct supervision.  Duties include providing patient care essential to x-ray procedures in routine and emergency situations; correctly adjusting equipment and positioning patients for optimum quality x-ray films, exercising discretion and judgment in the performance of medical imaging procedures and applying procedures of radiation protection for the patient; effectively producing and evaluating the technical aspects of the required files.  Must be an Iowa licensed Radiologic Technologist. Benefits: Uniform Allowance

PRN EMT: Keokuk County Health Center is seeking a PRN EMT, experience preferred.  Provides care in pre-hospital setting.  Applicant must be certified in the State of Iowa, Iowa Drivers and Chauffeurs license.  Acceptable driving record.  Must have BLS certification.  Looking for an outgoing individual that can work without supervision.  Benefits: Uniform Allowance.

PRN Paramedic: Keokuk County Health Center is seeking a PRN Paramedic.  Provides advance emergency care in pre-hospital setting.  Applicant must be certified in the State of Iowa, Iowa Drivers and Chauffeurs license.  Acceptable driving record.  Must be ACLS, BLS and PALS certified.  PHTLS certification preferred.  Hospital based ambulance service experience preferred.  Looking for an outgoing individual that can work without supervision.  Benefits: Uniform Allowance. 

PRN Retail Certified Pharmacy Technician: Keokuk County Health Center is seeking Certified Pharmacy Technicians to help cover vacations and sick time in the Retail Pharmacy (Jack’s Corner Drug).  Technicians assist pharmacists with preparing and distributing prescription medications to customers, working with health professionals and customers, taking prescription information over the phone and in person, and provide prompt, efficient and friendly customer service by demonstrating care and concern for our patients.  Must be certified as a pharmacy technician. 

PRN Pharmacy Support Clerk: Keokuk County Health Center has an immediate opening for a PRN Pharmacy Support Clerk to work in our Retail Pharmacy (Jack’s Corner Drug), help cover vacations and sick leave.  Pharmacy support persons assist staff in a variety of tasks that help maintain proper work flow and meet time sensitive deadlines within the pharmacy department such as operating the cash register, processing drug orders from wholesalers, filing of prescriptions and pharmacy records, and performing pharmacy inventory control duties.
