Family Practice Physician (MD or DO) to practice primarily in our Medical Clinic and Hospital, and assist with nursing home coverage. Additional compensation can be earned through ER coverage. The Health Center has a reputation as an excellent primary care facility. This position is for the candidate who wants to be part of a primary care network of providers who care about their patients, want to have an excellent career with a great quality of life and great benefits. The Medical Clinic has two Physicians and two Family Practice Nurse Practitioners.

Roles and Responsibilities:
• Family Practice Physician (new born – geriatric)
• Nursing home rounding, In-patient admissions and rounding
• Opportunity for Emergency Room coverage
• Supervise mid-level practitioners (PA/ARNP) in the hospital setting
• Drive the success of the organization through exceptional customer service and patient advocacy.
• Administrative duties

Requirements:
• 3-5 years’ experience (preferred)
• Relocation to Keokuk County
• Family Practice Board Certified (preferred)
• Above average communication skills and ability to work with a team
• Iowa Controlled Substance Certification, Iowa License
• Federal DEA Certification

Full Time Registered Nurse: Keokuk County Health Center is seeking a Full Time Night Registered Nurse; guaranteed 24 hours per week and one floating shift when available.  ER experience is a plus.  Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse and authorized by the State of Iowa to practice nursing.  BLS, ACLS and PALS training required or within 90 days of hire and must maintain throughout employment.  TNCC training required or after 6 months of hire and must maintain throughout employment. Full benefit package includes medical, dental, vision and life insurance, short and long term disability plans, paid time off and IPERS. 

Full Time Physical Therapist: Keokuk County Health Center is seeking a full time; Iowa licensed Physical Therapist to provide high quality evaluations and interventions.  Candidate will deliver treatment in a variety of settings including outpatient, inpatient, long-term care and home health.  Treat one patient per hour, use WebPT for documentation. Team member will be responsible for patients with diverse diagnoses and age range.  Hours are flexible and based on a Monday through Friday work week.  Full benefit package includes medical, dental, vision and life insurance, short and long term disability plans, paid time off and IPERS.    

Part Time Radiology/CT Technologist: Keokuk County Health Center is seeking a Radiology/CT Technologist to work 18 hours per week, hours include some weekends and on-call coverage.  Responsible for providing medical imaging services as directed by the physician and/or radiologist.  Completes assigned responsibilities within his/her certifications with no direct supervision.  Duties include providing patient care essential to x-ray procedures in routine and emergency situations; correctly adjusting equipment and positioning patients for optimum quality x-ray films, exercising discretion and judgment in the performance of medical imaging procedures and applying procedures of radiation protection for the patient; effectively producing and evaluating the technical aspects of the required files.  Must be an Iowa licensed Radiologic Technologist.  Benefits: Paid Time Off, uniform allowance, and eligible for AFLAC insurance.  

Part Time Direct Care Worker: Are you interested in learning more about becoming a Certified Nursing Assistant and working in a family oriented environment?  Keokuk County Health Center has an opening for a part time Certified Nursing Assistant/Direct Care Worker; 24 hours per week, every other weekend and some holidays.  KCHC will provide training through Indian Hills Community College for the Nursing Assistant certification for the qualified applicant with a two year commitment of employment.  Hours include every other weekend and some holidays.  Will provide direct and indirect care activities under the supervision of a registered nurse.  Will assist patients with ADLs, provide personal cares, comfort and assist in the maintenance of a safe and clean environment. Benefits: Paid Time Off, uniform allowance, and eligible for AFLAC insurance.  

PRN Medical Technologist (MT)/Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT)Keokuk County Health Center has an opening for a PRN Medical Technologist/Laboratory Technician to assist in providing coverage for the Laboratory Department.  Candidates should be knowledgeable in all areas of routine procedures as well as those specialized tests that require more complex techniques. MT or MLT degree and graduated from an accredited school of medical technology.  ASCP/AMT registry required.  Hours to include some nights, weekends and on-call coverage. Benefits: Uniform Allowance

PRN Direct Care Worker: Keokuk County Health Center Nursing Department is seeking individuals that are willing to provide direct and indirect care activities under the supervision of a registered nurse.  Will assist patients with ADL’s, provide personal cares, comfort and assist in the maintenance of a safe and clean environment.  Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in State of Iowa.  BLS certification required.  

PRN Registered Nurse: Keokuk County Health Center is seeking Registered Nurses to help cover shifts when other employees are on vacation or sick leave.  Shifts are 12 hours Days/Nights/Weekends.  ER experience is a plus.  Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse and authorized by the State of Iowa to practice nursing.  BLS, ACLS and PALS training required or within 90 days of hire and must maintain throughout employment.  TNCC training required or after 6 months of hire and must maintain throughout employment.  Benefits: Uniform Allowance
