Family Practice Provider (MD,DO, PA or ARNP) to practice primarily in our Medical Clinic and Hospital, and assist with nursing home coverage. Additional compensation can be earned through ER coverage. The Health Center has a reputation as an excellent primary care facility. This position is for the candidate who wants to be part of a primary care network of providers who care about their patients, want to have an excellent career with a great quality of life and great benefits. The Medical Clinic has two Physicians and two Family Practice Nurse Practitioners.

Roles and Responsibilities:
• Family Practice Provider (new born – geriatric)
• Nursing home rounding, In-patient admissions and rounding
• Opportunity for Emergency Room coverage
• Drive the success of the organization through exceptional customer service and patient advocacy.
• Administrative duties

Requirements:
• 3-5 years’ experience (preferred)
• Relocation to Keokuk County (preferred)
• Family Practice Board Certified (preferred)
• Above average communication skills and ability to work with a team
• Iowa Controlled Substance Certification, Iowa License
• Federal DEA Certification

Full Time Physical Therapist: Keokuk County Health Center is seeking a full time; Iowa licensed Physical Therapist to provide high quality evaluations and interventions.  Candidate will deliver treatment in a variety of settings including outpatient, inpatient, long-term care and home health.  Treat one patient per hour, use WebPT for documentation. Team member will be responsible for patients with diverse diagnoses and age range.  Hours are flexible and based on a Monday through Friday work week.  Full benefit package includes medical, dental, vision and life insurance, short and long term disability plans, paid time off and IPERS.    

Part Time Radiology/CT Technologist: Keokuk County Health Center is seeking a Radiology/CT Technologist to work 18 hours per week, hours include some weekends and on-call coverage.  Responsible for providing medical imaging services as directed by the physician and/or radiologist.  Completes assigned responsibilities within his/her certifications with no direct supervision.  Duties include providing patient care essential to x-ray procedures in routine and emergency situations; correctly adjusting equipment and positioning patients for optimum quality x-ray films, exercising discretion and judgment in the performance of medical imaging procedures and applying procedures of radiation protection for the patient; effectively producing and evaluating the technical aspects of the required files.  Must be an Iowa licensed Radiologic Technologist.  Benefits: Paid Time Off, uniform allowance, and eligible for AFLAC insurance.  

PRN Direct Care Worker: Keokuk County Health Center Nursing Department is seeking individuals that are willing to provide direct and indirect care activities under the supervision of a registered nurse.  Will assist patients with ADL’s, provide personal cares, comfort and assist in the maintenance of a safe and clean environment.  Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in State of Iowa.  BLS certification required.  Benefits: Uniform Allowance

PRN Paramedic: Keokuk County Health Center is seeking a PRN Paramedic.  Provides advance emergency care in pre-hospital setting.  Applicant must be certified in the State of Iowa, Iowa Drivers and Chauffeurs license.  Acceptable driving record.  Must be ACLS, BLS and PALS certified.  PHTLS certification preferred.  Hospital based ambulance service experience preferred.  Looking for an outgoing individual that can work without supervision.  Benefits: Uniform Allowance. 

PRN to Potentially Full Time Clinic Nurse: Keokuk County Health Center is seeking a Medical Assistant, LPN or RN to work in our Medical Clinic on an as needed basis, potential for full time.  Assist providers in all areas of clinic patient care:  vaccines, charting, scheduling, and rooming.  BLS training required or within 90 days of hire and must maintain throughout employment.  Must be a certified Medical Assistant or licensed as a LPN or RN and authorized by the State of Iowa to practice nursing. Benefits: Uniform Allowance.

PRN to Potentially Full Time Phlebotomist: Keokuk County Health Center is seeking a PRN Phlebotomist on an as needed basis, potential for full time.  Phlebotomist will obtain and prepare blood, urine and other specimens for analysis.  Performs point-of-care laboratory tests.  Must be a certified Phlebotomy Technician.  Phlebotomy experience is preferred.  Must be able to work independently and follow through on assignments with minimal direction.  Understands that errors may have serious consequences for patients.  Must maintain a valid drivers’ license.  Benefits: Uniform Allowance.
