Ambulance

Paramedic | PRN | $23.60 – $32.10/hour plus shift differentials

Keokuk County Hospital & Clinics is seeking PRN Paramedics. Provides advance emergency care in pre-hospital setting. Applicant must be certified in the State of Iowa, Iowa Drivers and Chauffeurs license. Acceptable driving record. Must be ACLS, BLS and PALS certified. PHTLS certification preferred. Hospital based ambulance service experience preferred. Looking for an outgoing individual that can work without supervision.

Paramedic | Full Time | $19.70 – $26.75/hour (with Paramedic Certificate) plus shift differentials

Keokuk County Hospital & Clinics has an opening for a full time Paramedic. Provides advance emergency care in pre-hospital setting. Applicant must be certified in the State of Iowa to practice as a paramedic or be certified as an EMT and enrolled in a paramedic program, have a valid Iowa Drivers License, acceptable driving record, and have at least one year of hospital based ambulance service experience preferred. Must have the following certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS.  PHTLS certification preferred. Looking for an outgoing individual that can work without supervision.

Nursing

Night Registered Nurse | Full Time | $27 – $36.25 plus shift differentials

Keokuk County Hospital & Clinics is seeking a full time night registered nurse to work on the inpatient floor and emergency room. Shifts are 12 hours (7 pm – 7 am), guaranteed 36 hours per week. ER experience is a plus. Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse and authorized by the State of Iowa to practice nursing.  BLS, ACLS and PALS training required or within 90 days of hire and must maintain throughout employment. TNCC training required or after 6 months of hire and must maintain throughout employment.

Night Unit Coordinator | Full Time | $15 – $20/hour

Keokuk County Hospital & Clinics has an opening for a full time night (7pm -7am) Nursing Unit Coordinator, guaranteed 36 hours a week which includes every other weekend and rotating holidays. Nursing Unit Coordinator will support the Emergency and Nursing Department professional clinic staff by performing general administrative clerical duties and by providing direct patient care under the supervision of a RN. Basic computer knowledge is required.  Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in state of Iowa preferred. BLS certification required.

Looking for Direct Care Workers to help cover vacations and sick leave on an as needed basis. DCWs provide direct and indirect care activities under the supervision of a registered nurse. Will assist patients with ADL’s, provide personal cares, comfort and assist in the maintenance of a safe and clean environment. Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the State of Iowa and BLS certification required.

Radiology

Radiology Technologist | PRN | $26 – $36.50/hour plus shift differentials

Keokuk County Hospital & Clinics is seeking a Radiology Technologist to help cover vacations, medical leave and on call weekend coverage. Responsible for providing medical imaging services as directed by the physician and/or radiologist. Complete assigned responsibilities within his/her certifications with no direct supervision. Duties include providing patient care essential to x-ray/CT procedures in routine and emergency situations; correctly adjusting equipment and positioning patients for optimum quality x-ray films. Exercise discretion and judgment in the performance of medical imaging procedures and apply procedures of radiation protection for the patient; effectively produce and evaluate the technical aspects of the required files.  Must be an Iowa licensed Radiologic Technologist. CT experience preferred but not required.

MD/DO/ARNP/PA-C | Full Time

Keokuk County Hospital & Clinics is hiring a full time MD/DO/ARNP/PA-C in our Sigourney Medical Clinic, 4 days a week.Looking for a provider with experience in family practice of all ages. Requirements: License to practice in the state of Iowa, current registration with DEA and CSA, current BLS and mandatory reporter training, ability to utilize electronic medical record system and demonstrate computer literacy, strong organizational skills, and ability to work well within a multidisciplinary team approach as well as individually.

Laboratory

PRN Medical Technologist (MT)/Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT)

Keokuk County Hospital & Clinics is seeking a PRN Medical Technologist or Medical Laboratory Technician to help cover vacations, medical leave, and on call coverage. Responsible for performing various laboratory tests to assist providers in the proper diagnosis and treatment of patients. Duties include collection of specimens, examination of blood and other body fluids, daily instrument maintenance, and quality control. B.S. or B.A. degree and graduated from an accredited school of medical technology OR B.S. or B.A. degree in chemical, physical, or biological sciences. Applicants should have an experience of at least 1 year and ASCP, AMT or AAB certification required. Hourly Wage Range for PRN: $25.00-38.00.
