Medical Technologist (MT) / Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) | Full Time

Keokuk County Health Center is seeking a MT or MLT to work a rotating schedule of day and evening, Monday through Friday. Hours will include on-call coverage for some nights and some weekends/holidays. Candidates should be knowledgeable in all area of routine procedures as well as those specialized tests that require more complex techniques. MT or MLT degree and graduated from an accredited school of medical technology. ASCP/AMT registry required.

Mental Health Provider | Full Time

Keokuk County Hospital and Clinics is looking to add an additional Mental Health Provider to our growing professional team. Provider would be responsible for meeting mental health care needs through advanced assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of conditions in accordance with professional standards. Requirements: Board Certified in Psychiatry and license to practice in the state of Iowa, dual family practice preferred; Strong clinical background in psychiatry and the ability to work fully independently; Current registration with DEA and CSA; Current BLS and Mandatory Reporter Training; Strong background in the diagnosis of psychiatric disorders and psychopharmacological treatments and familiarity with non-pharmacological interventions; Ability to utilize electronic medical record system and demonstrate computer literacy; Ability to work well within a multidisciplinary team approach as well as individually; Strong organizational skills. Responsibilities include: Provide initial assessments, medication management; Perform appropriate medical history and examination; Assess patient’s condition and develop treatment plan; Order and prescribe treatment, follow-up on treatment outcomes; Maintain counseling in the clinical setting.

Physical Therapist | Full Time

Keokuk County Health Center is seeking a full time; licensed Physical Therapist to provide high quality evaluations and interventions. Candidate will deliver treatment in a variety of settings including outpatient, inpatient, long-term care and home health. Treat one patient per hour, use WebPT for documentation. Team member will be responsible for patients with diverse diagnoses and age range. Hours are flexible and based on a Monday through Friday work week.

Paramedic | Full Time

Keokuk County Health Center is seeking a full-time Paramedic. Provides advance emergency care in pre-hospital setting. Applicant must be certified in the State of Iowa, Iowa Drivers and Chauffeurs license. Acceptable driving record. Must be ACLS, BLS and PALS certified. PHTLS certification preferred. Hospital based ambulance service experience preferred. Looking for an outgoing individual that can work without supervision.

Nursing Unit Coordinator | PRN

Keokuk County Health Center is seeking PRN Nursing Unit Coordinators to provide coverage for vacations and sick leave. Nursing Unit Coordinator will support the Emergency and Nursing Department professional clinical staff by performing general administrative clerical duties and by providing direct patient care under the supervision of a RN. Basic computer knowledge is required. Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in State of Iowa preferred. BLS certification required.

Speech Pathologist | PRN

Keokuk County Hospital & Clinics is seeking a PRN Speech Pathologist to provide coverage for vacations and medical leave. Responsible for administration and direct application of Speech/Language Pathology treatment modalities as prescribed by a referring physician to outpatients and inpatients. Current Iowa license as a Speech Pathologist. Current BLS and Iowa Dependent Adult/Child Abuse Mandatory Reporter training required.
