In addition to their on-site pharmacy, Keokuk County Hospital & Clinics (KCHC) has purchased Jack’s Corner Drug from local resident Jack Vallandingham. The agreement came as a result of Jack deciding to retire after 20 years of running his business in Sigourney. He was happy that a local entity that’s going to be here for the community will keep the pharmacy open.

            “I feel it’s a good opportunity to expand on our services to the local and surrounding communities to keep residents from having to potentially travel somewhere else for their prescriptions,” KCHC Administrator/CFO Matt Ives said.
